Reblogged this on Kritsa, at the heart of it all and commented:
In August 2015, I experienced a traditional wedding in Kritsa, a village on the Greek island of Crete where I have a home. It was a fantastic, colourful event and inspired me to feature a wedding in the novel I’m writing, set in Crete, circa 1830. The only thing is I didn’t have a face for my bride, now thanks to these wonderful atmospheric photos I do. I’ve reblogged onto my website so that some of my readers can find their way to your lovely site. If you’d like to see more of the Kritsa wedding you can use this link.http://kritsayvonne.com/2015/08/17/traditional-cretan-wedding-2/
Thank you Yvonne, I am very pleased and honored ) And it’s wonderful that you find inspiration in Crete’s traditions. I wish you all the best for the upcoming novel ❤
